Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on LuxeFinds.ie (“we”, “us”, “our”). It explains your rights and our process for returns and refunds. This policy is designed for customers in Ireland and the European Union (EU).

1) Important note about pre-loved items

LuxeFinds.ie sells pre-loved (second-hand) luxury items. Each item is unique and may show signs of wear. We describe condition as clearly as possible in the product listing.

2) Your right to cancel (EU “cooling-off” period)

If you are a consumer buying online in Ireland or the EU, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason.

· The 14-day period starts the day after you (or someone you nominate) receives the item.

· To cancel, you must notify us clearly (email is fine) within the 14 days.

· After you notify us, you must return the item within 14 days.

Exceptions

Your right to cancel may not apply in certain cases under EU rules (for example, sealed goods that are unsealed after delivery for hygiene reasons). These exceptions typically do not apply to handbags and accessories, but we will always follow applicable consumer law.

3) Return conditions (to protect authenticity and condition)

To be eligible for a refund, returned items must meet all of the following:

· Returned in the same condition as received (no additional wear, damage, stains, odours, or alterations).

· All included components must be returned: dust bag, box, authenticity card, straps, inserts, tags, and any accessories that came with the item.

· Any tamper-evident tag / security seal (if provided) must be intact and not removed.

· Returned with the original order details (order number and customer name).

If an item is returned in a different condition than sent, we may:

· Refuse the refund and return the item to you, or

· Offer a partial refund to reflect loss in value (where permitted by law).

4) How to request a return or refund

Please contact us before sending anything back:

· Subject line: “Return Request — Order #[INSERT]”

Include:

· Order number

· Item name

· Reason for return (optional for cancellations)

· Photos (required if the item is damaged or incorrect)

We will reply with return instructions and the return address.

5) Refunds (timing and method)

If your return is approved, we will refund you:

· The item price, and

· The original standard delivery cost (if you cancelled within the 14-day period), where required by law.

Refunds are issued to the same payment method used at checkout.

Timing:

· We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or within 14 days of receiving proof of return (whichever is earlier), in line with consumer law.

6) Return shipping costs

· If you cancel within the 14-day period, you are responsible for return shipping costs, unless we state otherwise.

· If the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs (or provide a prepaid label where available).

Return shipping costs may vary depending on your location within Ireland and the EU.

We recommend using a tracked and insured service for all returns, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

7) Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or materially not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.

Where the item is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund under Irish/EU consumer law. Because pre-loved items are unique, a replacement may not be possible; in that case, we will work with you on the best available remedy.

8) Authenticity disputes

We take authenticity seriously. If you believe an item is not authentic:

· Contact us immediately and do not use the item.

· We may request the item be returned for inspection.

· If an item is confirmed not authentic, we will provide a full refund, including original shipping.

9) Non-returnable items

Unless required by law, the following are non-returnable:

· Gift cards

· Final sale items clearly marked as “Final Sale” at checkout

Any non-returnable status will be clearly stated on the product page.

10) No store credit policy

LuxeFinds.ie provides refunds only. We do not offer store credit as an alternative to a refund (unless required by law).

11) Chargebacks

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Unnecessary chargebacks may delay resolution.
